Sunday is For Reading

Hi Everyone,

How are you? It is hard to believe that it is the middle of September and football weekends are back. Yesterday, Mom and I watched not 1, but 2 Great Egrets enjoying a late lunch out back. Next to them, about 3ft away, was a Great Blue Heron. It was incredible. We watched them for an hour, just peacefully enjoying their meals and having a few stare-downs. In the middle, a few turtles kept up a steady pace of picking the palm fruit off the ground and carrying it back to the lake for their friends and family.

This afternoon, the turtles are back at it. I am hoping the cooler air will arrive soon, and we can enjoy nature’s beauty, while sitting outdoors. (Maybe even take a few pics… maybe.)

Today, I have my planner out, trying to get things organized. I am also trying to catch up on my reading. I am starting a book that most everyone has raved about… it was released earlier this year, and the sequel has just been announced. What is it, you might ask?

Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano

This book looks to be a fun, quick read. Have you read it yet?

What are you reading today? What teams are you pulling for this weekend?
