We are currently watching old episodes of Elementary, since all of our teams won this weekend. It got me thinking about all the Sherlock Holmes stories and Sherlock-esque tales that exist.
I love the show Elementary. I enjoyed the movie Enola Holmes, and look forward to the sequel. I could not finish the Robert Downey, Jr/Jude Law film. Growing up, I loved The Great Mouse Detective.
Of course, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is a genuine classic. Charles Finch writes a series that I recommend to Sherlock fans. I could not finish The Seven Percent Solution by Nicholas Meyer, though I desperately wanted to love it. I recommend The Anatomist’s Apprentice by Tessa Harris. I want to read The Beekeeper’s Apprentice by Laurie R. King.
Do you enjoy Sherlock Holmes mysteries? What books/shows do you recommend?
