Today, I received in the mail:
The Zero Night by Brian Freeman (a police procedural, part of the Jonathan Stride series)
The Forty Elephants by Erin Bledsoe (based on a true story if an all-female gang in London,1920s)
The Blackhouse by Carole Johnstone (a Scottish island psychological thriller)
The first two are new-to-me authors. The third, I read Mirrorland and loved it. Dark and twisty, indeed!
