Hi Everyone,
I hope you all have had a nice Easter. If you have been a long-time follower, you know the past four Easters have been hard on my family. My goal this year, was to break the cycle. I just wanted a peaceful weekend, with no hospitals, and no funerals. I was at first determined to avoid this holiday completely, but instead I chose to embrace it. Jagger has had us a bit concerned this weekend, with his paw, but hopefully the rest will allow him to heal. Thankfully, us humans were able to work (a first for me in several years!) and then spend time together enjoying the cool air. I am beyond grateful.
I am finishing up The Vanishing Man tonight. I have really enjoyed this new-to-me author. Have you ever picked a random book and realized it was a prequel to long series? Looks like there’s 12 more mysteries to solve with Detective Lenox! My review will be posted next week.
What are you reading during this holiday weekend?
Enjoy!

Just finished A Great Reckoning by Louise Penny. Some of the characters are a little twisted, which makes the whole story suspenseful.
Still trying to determine ‘who did it’ in The Man From Beijing By Henning Mankel. This is one of his stand alone books, so I do not have Kurt Wallander to help me solve the mass murder.
