In times of storm and tempest, of indecision and desolation, a book already known and loved makes better reading than something new and untried … nothing is so warming and companionable.

Hello Everyone,
It has been a long time, too long, in my opinion. These past few months have been a blur of doctors, phone calls, hospital visits, tears, numerous losses and a funeral. The boys (my dogs) have endured all the stress and chaos, but they both had recent seizures. One of the small positives from this year was that I finally was able to bring home my CPAP machine. Something that anyone and everyone has told me would change my life and give me back some of my energy and mental stamina. Unfortunately, it appears I have a defective machine, but alas this has just become a norm.
Reality has been unreal, and therefore I have turned to reading chapters from my old favorites. Reuniting with friends from Harry Potter and Percy Jackson to Countermeasure and the Summer Girls, to name a few. Reading these fictional chapters has been stabilizing to my restless mind and heart.
However, today is the official start of a new month and a new season. I vowed that the first of this month would mean changes for me. I no longer wanted to be sucked into the inevitable and downward look on life. I craved to get onward and move forward, catching up on work. So, here I am. If you are still following this blog, I sincerely thank you and I promise you, the best has yet to come.
Happy May Day to all!
Enjoy!
