Heat Wave Series #1. By: Alannah Lynne. Format: eBook. Read: December 2012.
Kat Owens and Erik Monteague hadn’t seen each other since they shared that one hot and steamy night together. However at a work-related party they are thrust back together and they must face their past. Once it has been decided that Erik will be Kat’s main client in her quest to become VP, she decides that her future with Erik will be strictly business. However Erik wants a repeat of the one night he hasn’t been able to forget. As the truths from their pasts are told and as their chemistry benefits their work relationship, will each of them risk everything for love, or will they keep it strictly business?
Alannah Lynne’s book exudes sex and desire. From the very first few pages, readers will be over-heated and longing for more. Kat and Erik have a chemistry that readers’ dream of, while each have a vulnerable past that make them feel more real. Fans of romance must add this book and this author to their library. Readers will become life-long fans after just the first ten pages. Highly recommended for mature adult readers that want a book to take them on a fun vacation or provide an arousing escape.
This was the first book I have read by Alannah Lynne and it certainly won’t be my last. This book has so many steamy scenes, I read it twice before writing my review. It starts off with such a bang and the rest of the book does not disappoint. I would recommend this book to readers who love the romance genre. Are you a fan of romance? Do you prefer a book that starts off steamy or one that builds upon the chemistry? Either way, be sure to check out this book and let me know what you think.
Enjoy!

This genre of books is truly a guilty pleasure. I enjoy my fair share of hot and steamy romances. I do like it when chemistry builds, but if you can feel it right away in the characters then why not go straight for it!
This genre is a fun genre and offers quite the variety. Glad you enjoyed the review! Have a good day!
