Mayhem in Myrtle Beach

By: T. Lynn Ocean

Mayhem in Myrtle Beach mixes a newly single, fresh college graduate with forty-six young at heart senior citizens and places them all on a charted bus headed to Myrtle Beach. What could possibly go wrong? Sherwood accepts a week-long probationary offer at a retirement community, in hopes that the time in the sun will not only give her a new perspective on life, but also a paying job when she returns. Who Left Me in Charge?

By: Erin Spatz

This past month, I had the pleasure of reading this new release by local author and new Sasee columnist, Erin Spatz. Erin mixes reality and humor as she shares her journey through Postpartum Panic Disorder. This book is a collection of her journal entries dealing with everyday topics that most Moms face.

Erin Spatz thought that throughout her pregnancy and childbirth that life would be magical once she held her newborn baby. Unfortunately, she developed Postpartum Panic Disorder that worsened after each of her four children were born. Throughout her struggles, she found a form of peace through writing and kept a journal of her chaotic days. Her honest and playful writing style makes it easy for all women to relate to her. Since the chapters are organized by topics, they are short and easy to read. Perfect for busy Moms looking to find something they can connect to, when they don’t have a lot of time to devote to reading.

October is HERE!!!

Hi Everyone,

Happy October first everyone! I am so thrilled to see October arrive. This month is filled with happy events and I just hope that vibe continues throughout all of life’s aspects. (On the second to last day of September our car died, but it is fixed now, so we will be picking it up this evening.) So cheers to a happy, healthy, productive and positive October, filled with cooler air and warm food and drinks.

I will be working on typing up three reviews for you all today. (Remember the car broke down Sunday, so my mind has been a bit preoccupied.) However, in the meantime, check out the Sasee page on here. You will see the link to this month’s issue, with a review that I did earlier in the year on here. (I must say, I am pretty excited to see it in print and online. I still think it is a dream.)

Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!

Thanks for your continued to support. Have a wonderful October!

Enjoy!

Feeling Sasee…?

Hi Everyone,

Sasee Magazine is a Women’s Magazine located in South Carolina. Starting on October 1, 2013, I will be writing book reviews for them. The good news for everyone here, is that the majority of these reviews will be ones that I have already written. At the top of the site, you will see I have added a new page specifically for Sasee. There you will find a link to their online site. (I will also provide it here at the bottom of this post.) Also, you will see each book title as it is published. So be sure to check out their site and I think all of you will enjoy the Read It! column. They review really incredible books.

Enjoy!
