“When I discover who I am, I’ll be free.”
So today’s my birthday. For the first time in my adult life, I am just me on my birthday. Not a student. Not a caregiver. Just me. I am delighted to say I am a Book Reviewer, which was something I could only have dreamed of when I was younger, to be surrounded by books and to be able to talk to others about the amazing worlds book give us. But as far as who I am as a person… well, I am still figuring that out.
Thanks for all your continued support. Have a wonderful week everyone!

How are you? Have you all remained healthy and gotten all of your shopping done? Well if you have, then you are better than me. Let’s see here, Friday was my grandfather’s 81st birthday, so while Mom took him out to lunch, I baked him a few surprise chocolate chip and walnut cookies. 🙂 By Saturday afternoon, I had to give in and concede, I was sick and despite putting up a fight, I had to give in and take some medicine. Have I mentioned that the last four days were in the 80s? Thankfully last night the rain came through and cooled things off. The weatherman declared it was 20 degrees cooler today, than at the same time as yesterday. (Talk about some big changes… Tonight it is supposed to be in the 20s!!! Perfect timing, don’t you think?)
Last night, I managed to sneak out of the house for an hour to complete my holiday shopping and today, I had the great pleasure of wrapping everything! Wrapping presents is my second favorite activity of this season… My favorite is watching everyone’s faces as they open up their gifts. What about you? Do you and your family have special traditions during this time of year?
I just wanted to take a quick second to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I will be back online on Thursday with several reviews for all of you to enjoy! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Happy Saturday. I hope you all are having a wonderful week. I wanted to give you all a quick update on the BIG Giveaway. The second winner, Amanda, did contact me and she selected the majority of the prizes. Since there are still a couple left, I have sent an email to the original winner, Melissa, who did not contact me before. Melissa has until 7pm tomorrow to contact me to claim her prizes, otherwise a new name will be drawn tomorrow night. As soon as all the prizes have been claimed I will then post all of the answers to the characters, poems and quotes.
Thank you all again for making the 1 year Birthday party a big success. I look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with all of you in the future! Thank you for your continuous support. Have a wonderful weekend!
