I do not recognize any of the above authors, except Marie really likes Allyson Abbott. So I look forward to trying all of the titles that i win, heehee.
My favorite mystery writer is Virginia Lanier, Her character is a no nonsense dog trainer and always gets her man.

  2. Fran says:

Carolyn Keene (Nancy Drew) is the best mystery writer for all time.
She was great years ago and is still the best.

  3. Cindy Murphy says:

It is so hard to just pick one author but I have enjoyed every book I’ve read by John Grisham. His plots are always interesting.

  4. Maria Mercedes says:

Karin Slaughter, she does such good research into forensics, police protocol, local laws and has such surprises in her stories.

  5. Beth Hans says:

I always liked Elizabeth George’s Inspector Linley series.

  6. Ms Pat says:

Agatha Christie is the mystery writer extraordinaire.

  7. Nicoloza Kerns says:

I know of a few authors on the list but haven’t read their work yet. I’d have to say my favorite mystery writer is James Patterson. 🙂
