Hi Everyone,
Last night’s Great American Read focused on villains, which is apparently a subject that I am not well-read. I love thrillers and mysteries, but I tend to shy away from horror. (I have to be in the mood for a good scare.) So here’s my breakdown from last night’s featured books:
Series that I love:
Harry Potter
Book that I read and did not like:
Frankenstein (I really do not like the aspect of ripping apart bodies)
Book that my Mom and I want to read:
Rebecca (the passage they shared was SPOOKY. Sounds perfect for October.)
Books that I want to read:
Moby Dick (I have read passages, during my Lit classes, but I want to read the whole thing)
Gone Girl
Handmaid’s Tail (this has been on my list for a long time)
A Game of Thrones (I am waiting for the right time to start this lengthy series.)
Beloved
Alice in Wonderland (Neither Mom nor I, can remember if I ever read this book. I know the story, I have seen the movie… but did I ever read it. Or did I read a younger edited version. Hmm.)
