So we are halfway through the month, which means we are halfway through Redemption Bay by RaeAnne Thayne. This has been a sweet story and I am thoroughly enjoying the setting. It seems peaceful and homey. What do you think?
On the other hand, I have one slight issue…
The last two chapters contained the inevitable misunderstanding. It seems in contemporary romance books, there will always be a situation that is misinterpreted and inevitably destroys everything the main characters had earned. It is such a basic component of the stories that it is almost a bit of a cliche. Now today’s chapter showed the sweeter side of Ben, that readers saw while they had the picnic on the boat. Do you think these two characters will be able to redeem their relationship?
Do you get tired of the mid-term misunderstandings or do you appreciate how the characters have to find their way back to each other?
