Mary Alice Monroe packs a punch with relatable characters and realistic life events. Life doesn’t wait for anyone; therefore one must keep putting one foot in front of the other and move forward. The ending will have readers frantic for the next book.

I could completely relate to Dora. I understood how she lost herself by trying to be the thing everyone else needed. It was nice to see her regain focus on herself and begin to accept being happy.
