My Sister’s Books Review #28

Plantation Tours and Tastes Georgetown History

Published by: The Church Women of Prince George Winyah Parish

Plantation Tours and Tastes Georgetown History is a lovely cookbook written by the women of Prince George Winyah Parish, who have hosted multiple plantation tours since 1947. Chocked full of beautiful artwork and the history of Georgetown, South Carolina, this is an exceptional book for southern families. The recipes are organized in appetizers, seafood, drinks and desserts. The spiral binding makes it easier to prop the book up on the counter, for easier access while cooking. Along the edges there is space for notes, bible passages and bonus recipes. This is an enriching book for anyone looking to connect with their inner southern cook.
