Reading and Updates

Hi Everyone,

Today is a major reading day for me. I hope you all have a good book to read this weekend too. Hard to believe that this is the last weekend of the year, but I am looking forward to 2013 and all that it has to offer.

I just wanted to post a couple of quick updates here, before I go back to reading. First there appeared to be a connection issue with Facebook for the past two weeks, so if you are a fan of Ariesgrl Book Reviews Facebook page, you didn’t see anything that I had posted. I apologize for that and I think I have fixed the connection, so everything should be visible there again.

Unfortunately the second thing I wanted to discuss is something that I cannot control, nor fix. As you know I post my reviews to Barnes and Noble’s website, however it has become a game of hit or miss with whether or not my reviews are viewable. When I log into my account I can view that all of my reviews have been saved but only about half of them saved the star rating. It appears that those with the saved stars are visible when pulling up customer reviews on a book. BUT those without the saved stars are not visible and the website will not allow me to go back and fix it or re-rate it. I am not sure why this occurs, because I review every book on their site in the same process. So for those of you, who know I have reviewed the books, but can’t see it, this would be the reason.

Lastly, I am pleased to announce that Ariesgrl Book Reviews will be hosting another author sometime in January. There may even be a giveaway, too. I will keep you all updated as more information comes around, but I am really excited about this news and wanted to give you all a head’s up!

I wish you all a happy and peaceful Saturday! Happy Reading!

Enjoy!
~Ariesgrl

  1. I’m hoping to finish Finale, the last book in the Hush, Hush saga by the end of the year… Only a few chapters left!

    • Hi Dana,
Did you finish Finale? How did you like that saga? Hope you are enjoying the New Year!
      Have a wonderful day!

      • I did finish the series. It was just okay. I felt that the author could have been a bit more derscriptive. There were times when time just went by without any notice, and you jumped through scenes without even realizing it. A little more substance could have made this series more interesting and given it more depth. If you’re lokking for a YA Paranormal Romance with angels, I would suggest the Fallen series before this one. The story and writing is much better overall.

      • Thanks for the suggestion!
