This Week

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to quickly mention my thoughts about this past Tuesday, I wrote more details on my other blog. Tuesday, September 11, 2012, brought back many memories of September 11, 2001. That day changed the world forever. It was a day filled with heartbreak and tears, but it produced a spirit of hope, unity and strength. My hope is that we all vow to never forget that date, nor the spirit that was left behind. RIP to all of those who lost their lives on that day and because of that day. My heart goes out to the families of those who were lost.

The past two days were filled with reflection, memories and a bit of change. I went and picked up my new prescription eyeglasses Tuesday evening and spent yesterday dealing with a headache as I tried to adjust to the new frames. I was unable to work on the computer yesterday because of my headache, but tonight I will post my latest review. Thanks again to each of the amazing authors for giving me the opportunity to read and review your books. Thanks to all of you for following along, I hope you have discovered some new authors to add to your list of favorites.

As Always…
    Enjoy!

It’s nice being able to see again!

Yes, though it would be nicer if the adjustment period wasn’t so long, but I am very grateful to see! I had a coupon for the doctor’s visit and for the glasses, which made it nice for my wallet, too.

I’ve been putting off getting new glasses for a while now because I hate the headache adjustment periods! Although now I’m just being silly because my prescription is so old it’s not working very well and THAT’S giving me headaches. It’s really a no-win situation! ๐Ÿ˜›
Hope things have adjusted by now!

      Hi Andrea,
I am so happy to hear that I am not alone. The adjustment headaches are horrible. I am near-sighted and when I was younger, I had to change scripts every six to eight months. It had been two years though and I was getting horrible headaches because I needed to update my lenses. Thankfully I had a couple of coupons and now I am seeing clearly again. Adjustment period has passed and now I am just enjoying how clear everything is again. Good luck in getting new glasses, don’t wait too long because the headaches will not stop. Have a good night!
